What are Your New Year’s Eve Plans?
December 28, 2007 by Mr. GentleNibbles
It was a tough decision of what lifestyle event to attend this year for New Years Eve. There are several huge parties in Houston, and with the addition of a couple of new clubs this year the choices are outrageous. There were about three or four events we really would like to go to, but at the end of the day decided to go with High Maintenance Party’s New Years Eve Party.
To be honest the number of RSVP’s on the lifestyle websites seem to be a little low for all of the New Years Eve Parties. I think this is probably related to the fact there are so many events to chose from this year that the crowds at all of them may be watered down a bit. That is probably not a bad thing. We enjoy large turnouts because you get an opportunity to meet more people, but if the crowd is to big it can stifle the mood a little bit.
I have no doubts that the HMP party will be top notch with lots of new faces and old friends. We are really excited about the After Party hotel takeover at a hotel close to the event. This will be our first big “after party” since entering the lifestyle earlier this year, and we are looking forward to seeing what they are all about.
The only real worries we have are what to wear. It is dress to impress, but to be honest I am not that keen on wearing a tie all night. I am trying to think of way to look classy, sexy, and sophisticated without a tie. Does anyone out there have any ideas? I do not think one of those “tuxedo t-shirts” from the 80’s is going to cut it. Mrs Gentlenibbles is going shopping tomorrow to get her new outfit for the party, I can’t wait to see it.
Here is a list of the some of the parties we know about in the Houston area for New Years Eve this year:
- Club Cave “Dress to Impress” -$125.00 per couple
- Desirous Party presents “Formal Lingerie and Fetish Ball” -$???
- HMP “New Years Eve Party” - $150.00 per couple
- Rave presents “Nefarious” at Iniquity -$100.00 per couple
- Pendulum Room “NYE” - $50.00 per couple
- Tryst presents “New Years Eve Extravaganza” at The Mystery Zone- $150.00 per couple
- Wish’s “New Year’s Eve Hotel Takeover” -$???
I told you there were lots of options, and that does not include all the smaller or private parties that we may not of heard about. Are you beginning to see why New Years Eve is one of the biggest nights in the lifestyle community. If you have ever thought about seeing what the lifestyle has to offer, come out and check it out on New Year’s Eve. You will have to drop a few bucks to do it, but it is a fun night with lots of newbies and part-timers so it will be much easier to fit in.
For an idea of what to expect, and to see some profiles of some of the couples that will be there, check out CouplesTouch or Lifestyle Lounge. If you don’t have an account you can sign up for a free one, and then you will be able to view the calendar of events and see what all couples are signed up to go.
Whatever you end up doing New Year’s Eve, I hope it is memorable, safe, and everything you want. Do me a favor, when the ball drops at midnight, kiss your spouse like you have never kissed them before. After midnight, cut loose and create fantastic stories! The only requirement being, you have to come back and share them with us!
Happy New Years!!! (almost)
