New Years Eve 2008; A Night to Remember

After being worthless for most of the day yesterday and going to sleep at 8:30PM, I have finally rested up enough to write about what a great night New Year’s Eve was for us.  We attended the High Maintenance Party at LeBare, and then went to the “hotel takeover” party afterwards. 

In a discussion the next morning, after waking up in our hotel room, Mrs Gentlenibbles and I agreed this may have been one of the all-around most enjoyable nights we have had since entering the lifestyle.  It was a evening filled with incredibly beautiful classy people being a little devious, and sometimes downright naughty.

The day started out on the right foot when we received an email, from a couple we have been interested in for awhile, asking us if we wanted to meet for dinner before going to the party.  We were excited to hear from them and agreed we would meet at the hotel, get checked into our rooms, and then grab some sushi before heading to the party. 

Both Mrs. Gentlenibbles and I were busy running errands most of the day New Year’s Eve.  Then we came home to meet my parents, who had come into town to watch the kids for us.  My mother was so happy we had decided to get a room for the evening instead of driving in the “post party” New Years traffic.  I am sure I had a smirk on my face during this conversation, as I know she would not be quite so happy to hear the hotel was going to be full of sexual socialites running amuck. 

After meeting the other couple, C and A, at the hotel we headed out to find a sushi bar.  We ended up at a fantastic sushi restaurant none of us had been to before.  The women looked so beautiful in their party dresses, the food was great, and the restaurant was practically empty, which made for great conversation and lots of chemistry to flow.   I think Mrs. Gentlenibbles and I would have been happy taking C and A straight back to the hotel room after dinner, but there was still a great party to attend.

We drove back to the hotel and caught the complimentary shuttle to the club.   The club was still relatively empty, but we did find some other friends that we knew.  We joined their group, took our seats, and ordered some drinks. 

If you have never experienced a lifestyle party or club setting, it may be hard to comprehend the atmosphere.  It really is an incredible experience balanced with little bit of eroticism,  a large dose of sexy, and huge load of fun.  We spent the next hours flirting, kissing, dancing, and a little petting with lots of old friends and plenty of new ones. 

Try to remember what it was like, when you were at a club or a bar back in your late teenage/early adult days.  Remember how great it felt when a girl (guy - if your one of the ladies) flirted back, enjoyed the conversation, and seemed genuinely interested.  Now imagine being at a place where that interaction repeats itself with almost everyone you talk too.  All of this,  is before we throw in the sexy outfits, sexual tension, kissing, and some light petting.  This night had the perfect combination of all of the above.

We enjoyed flirting with several couples in the evening, but the chemistry was really flowing with C and A.  By the end of the evening, there was very little doubt in any of our minds where all of this was leading.  After spending our first few hours of the new year dancing, we took the shuttle back to the hotel.
