Hollywood is Asking for a Peek Under Your Sheets!
Calling all you sexy swingers! Gentle Nibbles has been contacted by some legitimate television producers who are trying to put together a reality television show for the VH1 television network and they are looking for some real swingers to be the stars.
Picture in your head an amalgamation of the television shows “Friends”, MTV’s “Real World”, and “Swingtown”. The producers are looking to make a documentary style reality show centered around you, your life, your friends both vanilla and swinger, and your experiences in the Lifestyle.
For couples that are not in the “swinging closet” this could be a huge opportunity and a lot of fun. Just as in the spirit of “The Osbournes” or ”Family Jewels” the crew comes to you versus you having to commit to living on location somewhere for a period of time during the filming. Should you be the lucky selected stars, they literally will be following you and your circle of friends as you go about life.
They even mentioned that due to the tremendous popularity and activity of the Lifestyle in the Houston area, they have definitely considered Houston as a possible target city for their shooting location.

Wow! I really, really hope that they pick normal people for this show–good-looking, fun, people with intact boundaries. Do you know if swingers are behind this project at all?

WOW! I saw this and I CAN’T even imagine a reality show of our fantastically hidden life. The thought of my mother-in-law seeing me in my last theme outfit makes me cringe!
Per the above, I also hope they pick normal people for this because it’s hard enough explaining to people how Swinging does NOT mean humping at the sight of another couple….OMG thoughts of camera crews at parties just came to mind! Yikes.

I imagine since it is VH1 and not HBO or Showtime, the content will most likely be focused on the “party” and the “lifestyle” and less on the sex. One would think that will help reduce the tendency of Hollywood over focusing on the sex side of things… maybe

Wow! We just talked to a couple we are friends with who are being considered for this, and I think it’s an awesome idea! Ballsy for sure. (no pun intended, lol) Most of our family and friends already know about us being in the lifestyle, so to me, the idea of it al is cool- gives real swingers a chance to show everyone what this is all actually about. So many people have this crazy mis-conseption of the lifestyle. I think if they watched this show, it could really enlighten them. Plus we all know it would be crazy entertaining!
