Lights, Camera, and Wait Just a Second for the Action

Mrs. Gentlenibbles and I can’t count the number of responses we have had by email to this previous article, where we introduced our readers to qiute possibly the next TV reality show stars and fellow swingers, Kristin and Stacy.  This sexy pair, who are known in the Lifestyle community as The Closet Freaks, were deep in the running for being selected as the stars of a brand new reality show being released by VH1. 

Well, since then we have gotten to know these hotties a little better and with a little sweet coaxing by Mrs. Gentlenibbles we convinced them to give us an update on the status of the show and their future stardom. 

So here is what they had to say!

Hey fellow gentle nibbles fans!!

  Its your favorite closet freaks here to give you another status update on the VH1 Reality Show!! As you already know (and for a few that don’t), we had been interviewed back in February to star in a swinging reality show here in Houston. After months of Vh1 traveling from city to city interviewing others, we finally got the call back that we/Houston had made it into the TOP 3! We had then scheduled a meeting to have another recorded interview to help the Producers choose their favorite city.

Well weeks went by, and still no camera crew arrived to take their 2nd recorded footage. We waited patiently for the call back to give us the date of their Houston arrival…yet it never came. We also even put in a few calls ourselves to no avail. We were pretty bummed having to leave all of you gentlenibbles fans in the darkness…yet we were in the dark ourselves.

 Well… the light at the end of the tunnel finally shined this month and we received a call from the 1st producer! We hadn’t spoken with him since the inital phone interview back in February so we were quite surprised to hear from him.

 
In a nutshell he basically told us this:

 After nearly a year of them going through the stages to narrow it down to 3 cities, VH1 decided to “pass on the idea” of having a Lifestyle Reality Show on their network. The reasoning behind it didn’t rest so much on being too controversial, as much as being that it didn’t “fit” the network’s reality show style. they said that these days shows like “The Real World” etc are gone… and people are wanting more “elimination” type shows.

  Hey, we could just boot off the bad sexual partners, right? *evil grin*

BUT… that isn’t stopping the main Producer from moving forward. He’s decided that even though VH1 passed, he doesn’t want to totally eliminate it from the drawing board. He is going to meet up with producers from other networks this month such as: Bravo, Cinemax, HBO, etc and pitch them the idea. Depending on which network (if any) agrees, we will have to re-evaluate and adjust the footage to their network. What was “Risque” for VH1 would be nothing compared to Cinemax. So we’d have to sit and discuss how we would want to go about doing that. He says that hopefully he will be done with all of his meetings by the end of November to early December so we’re hoping to hear back something by Christmas time. *Crosses fingers*. If so, that would be a great time to begin filming since Stacy and I just launched our own official Lifestyle Party Group — illicit PARTY – In fact, our “Couples Gone Wild” New Years Eve party will be our very first event! And trust me, they’d surely wanna be a part of THIS totally UN-traditional NYE party. *Another evil grin*. If it doesn’t make it to filming by then (or at all), it would still be a great time to come meet us, have some fun, drinks, and even head over to the hotel after-party across the street! (Did we mention we bought out the entire hotel? LOL)! It would also be a great time to sample a no-pressure laid back party for those who have never attended one yet!
