Slut is Such a Pretty Word
This is a somewhat special “Swinger Says What”, as it is a bit of a diatribe spawned by a question we received from one of our readers.
Please read the note below:
So Mr XXXX and I have been in
the Lifestyle for two years this February and it seems in the last few months we have
finally gotten into the swing of it… I mean actually playing on a
regular basis.My question is since we have been playing so often
lately, sometimes with repeat partners and others with new ones, does
this make us sluts?I (Mrs. XXXX) sometimes feel as though we have
become slutty. Is this a normal feeling? I guess because it took us two
years to figure some of the LS out that we have now been on streak
where we play often.
This note struck a bit of a chord with me. It is really crappy (edited for younger viewers) that even people as intelligent, liberated, and open minded as most swingers are can still sometimes succumb to the guilt and negative projections society has placed on non-monogamy for years.
We hear a word like Slut and we quickly ask ourselves, “Am I a slut?” Then we justify with, “We only play once a month”. Why do we do this, because for so long we are taught how dirty and selfish it is to actively pursue one’s sexuality.
Women are even more intensely exposed to this idiocy, often being taught sex is a somewhat dirty activity that is a gift for your husband. What? Even if you are a religious person, I would think the fact God put the little bitty “Holy Shit that feels good” nerves all over the place down there, even he thinks you should probably enjoy it! But,growing up, any girl who would have admitted she like sex, much less pursued it was automatically cast as a slut.
So what is a slut? Well according to Wikipedia:
Slut or slattern is a pejorative term meaning an individual who is sexually promiscuous.

Well I think it is time for a change! I think it is time for sexy people every where to look at a beautiful woman and say with true sincerity and appreciation,
“My you look slutty today. I love the fact that I can see your nipples through your blouse. Thank you for making my day a little better!”
I believe it is time for swingers to do for the word “Slut” what Johnny Knoxville and his crew did for “Jackass”. Hence this day forward swingers across America will embrace their love of orgasms and declare from the highest peaks the affirmation,

I love the word slut. I like it when Deviant calls me a slut. I really like it when Deviant calls me a dirty little slut. Now, part of this comes from the fact that I never slept with another person, other than Deviant, until we got into this swinging thing. So, I think that there is some irony in it.
If a slut is someone who really enjoys having sex… even {gasp} with people other than their spouse, then I will wear it proudly. Instead of the Scarlet” A”, I will wear the Scarlet “S”. Then you can call me Super Slut!
