Tweengers, Tweengers Everywhere
I am going to introduce you to a new term today. A term that from this day hence should become a part of your vocabulary. This term is Tweenger and can be defined as:
A Tweenger is a person who is a member of the multitudes of people of every type and belief who though do not actively participate in Swinging, consistently enjoy participating in activities that fall in between the Vanilla and Swinger world.
The World is full of Tweengers. I would like everyone out there to please raise your hand if you have ever participated in any of the following activities…..
- Enjoyed hot tubbing with other couples and found the atmosphere turn a little more sexual once you got in the water. You know what I am talking about. The jokes get a little darker, the stories a little sexier, and sometimes sharing some of your more intimate stories with friends. In some cases maybe even instead of swimsuits, underwear made do or even some tops came off and a little flashing occurred.
- Played some strip poker or something similar with friends. Sure you stopped when it got to underwear, that is why your a Tweenger, not a card carrying Swinger yet silly.
- While having sex, you talk to your partner about bringing someone else into the bedroom.
- Even though you’re happily married sometimes when you go out, the ladies wear something a little more revealing. Why? Maybe that sexual attention feels good?
- You both often flirt with other people and enjoy doing so.
- You read a blog called Gentle Nibbles! Got you…. what the hell are you doing here?
So how many of you have your hands up? I have a feeling there are quite a few of you out there, and there are tons more things people all over the country do all the time that could be on this list. Every Swinger I know spent quite a bit of time in the Tweenger phase before they finally took it a little further, and most of them did not regret it!
So why am I writing about this? Because you may not be aware of this, but May is national “Hug a Tweenger” month. So all of you very sexy swingers out there, pick you out a Tweenger to flirt with a little bit this month, because I am sure you have heard this very famous saying,
Today’s Swinger was yesterdays Tweenger!
Cautionary Statement…
There is a small chance that the “Hug a Tweenger” month is completely fabricated in a covert attempt to get more of these hotties to cross over and join us on the dark side!

Besides dressing up when we go out (who doesn’t) and the flirting thing… we do none of that stuff.
Don’t dig hot tubs (have been coaxed in a few times though) , never played strip poker, don’t talk about adding someone while we have sex…. and we are swingers.
Maybe you could invent a term for couples that swing and then get their swinging partners to go do vanilla/family stuff after we have all become friends.

OMG, we have ran into this a few times. Once, we were at a lifestyle club and after flirting with a couple for a good half hour, the couple invited us to a family BBQ. We were kind of surprised by the invite and then the female told us how beautiful Mrs. LydiaOpp was. We thought it was going well, but then she said “oh, I am not trying to flirt with you, we’re not in the lifestyle or anything like that.” We both were a bit shocked.
Of course, we quickly thanked them for the invite and gracefully found our way to flirt with couples that ARE into that sort of thing.

LOL too funny. We actually do alot of that as well. We even have a large group that meets weekly for volleyball and family fun!
