Let Freedom Swing – Swingers, Facebook, and the Morality Police

logo_facebook_sadWell for those of you who may not be aware, it appears Gentlenibbles.com has become the latest target of the self-ordained morality police.  Our peaceful, albeit sexy, existence has caught the judgemental glare of a certain church based group.   We were informed of their apparent interest in our site and the swinger jihad they are planning several weeks ago.

Now in the smoldering ruins of their first crusade lies the Facebook profile of Gentle Nibbles.  We discovered today that our Facebook profile has been removed from service.  We are unsure if our fan page suffered the same act of swinger martyrdom, but as of this afternoon we have not been able to locate it, as funny as that sounds.

But as good and faithful swingers we have opted to turn the other butt cheek on this travesty of epic proportions, content in the fact that in reality Gentle Nibbles is probably not the customer Mark Zuckerburg, Facebook founder, intended to populate his site.  Not to mention between Muhammad images and privacy problems Mark has much bigger battles these days than a couple of half naked Texans to worry about.

Now I know some of you are thinking how do you know who or what stood behind the demise of your Facebook profile.  You are correct.  We absolutely have no idea who and most likely it has nothing to do with our new friends, and furthermore their jihad will probably not involve much more than some pissy emails and a prayer chain.  But admit it, this story sounded much cooler when you thought full fledged “Swinger Armageddon” had broken out! ;)

Your soldiers in all things sexy and swinging!

due to our path, we decided to create our own social community. has a lot of features like facebook, more to come, where adults can be adult, share in creative endeavors, (we all know how creative we love to be with our sexuality and sexual explorations)

it’s a mixed lifestyle world full of diversity and international participants.

we ask for kindness and playing well with others, regardless of intent

  2. The good thing about facebook, is that you can create another profile! lol

We have recently created a profile and page on facebook and I tell ya, the profile isn’t an easy thing to create at all. It seems as though they don’t like alias’s, but I guess you can’t blame them since they were trying to do something different than MySpace.
MySpace seems to be better geared for anything with a sexual tone, but at the same time, is still a little prude.
I loaded some nude photos to my personal MySpace page last week, and made sure to mark the album as private, but somehow, low and behold the pics were removed within a few hours. MySpace may be a little better towards sexual things, but they still have their limitations.
    What’s a swinger to do?!

You may be even more surprised to find out that it might have actually been another life-styler that ratted you out. CouplesTouch has had several online groups, profiles, pages and group accounts on several other social media sites, just as many other sites like us do, however, our page(s) were systematically taken down one at a time by complaints from actual CT members who admitted to doing so, as they felt that their “playground” shouldn’t be “available on the internet”. Any form of advertising or networking can feel like a threat to the discretion of lifestyle participants. Don’t let it get you down, just keep on trucking. After all, word of mouth and networking is what brings these people together….

We have been in the lifestyle for some time and also run a few online erotic entertainment companies including an affiliate site for swinging links and an erotic webcam site with live girls, guys and swinging couples. You have our support! We have had our facebook and myspace accounts shut down in the past, often with little or now explaination. It is frustrating and unfair.
