When it comes to swingers, How? is a question that can be perceived in at least 3 ways. “How do I convince my partner to try swinging?” or “How do we get the play started?” or “How is she able to put her feet there while were hands are over here and her mouth is doing that?”

The first is the question we’re going to focus on. The second is a question that most swingbloggers or swingcasters have tackled at least once so for the time being you’ll have to check them out to answer that question. As for the third all we can say is “We don’t know how or why but it’s a lot of fun to watch….

Swingers and the Water Cooler

Where I work, we have very tight knit group and we often have very open discussions and our jokes almost always have sexual undertones. We all laugh and usually forget that there are other people in the office who might not appreciate our humor! I am sure the bosses overhear, but just ignore us! I am really surprised we have not been called to HR, but I guess if no one is complaining, we are OK! Water cooler talk is what I call it!

My views of the topics of water cooler talk have changed drastically since entering the lifestyle, although it probably does not have as much to do with the lifestyle as it does just broadening my sexual experiences in general. As Mr. G explained on our About Us page, I was raised in a very religious environment with all sisters, so sex has been a learning experience for me for most of my married life.

Halloween with DesirousParty at the Ritz in Houston

Well the incredibly sexy Mrs. Gentlenibbles and I have determined where we are going to spend this year’s Halloween, the biggest of all swinging holidays! We, along with well over five hundred other sexy swingers will be taking over The Ritz gentleman’s club followed by a hotel takeover in the South Houston area on October 25th!

Halloween is such a sexy holiday, that always brings out large crowds and induces great times. I have to tell you, you have not seen a party until you have a seen a great hotel takeover! Hundreds of sexy couples walking around in lingerie and sexy pajamas going door to door meeting new couples and having a great time! We have been to two hotel takeovers in our swinging career and both experiences rank really high on our list of favorites!

Standing Tall - Battling an Uncooperative Penis

Last week we discussed the phenomenon many new male swingers face when first entering the lifestyle of obtaining and maintaining an erection during play.

If you did not get a chance to read that post, click here to quickly read it before going on with today’s article. The main discussion of that post was that even though most men do not admit to struggling with “performance anxiety”, it is a relatively common occurence especially among new swinger couples.

Fortunately, it is almost always a temporary problem often disappearing after couples gain a little more experience and becomes more comfortable in play situations. This however does not make the experience any less troubling for the man involved, thus today we are going to discuss some things you can do to help make your soldier stand at attention when he is most needed!

The Twenty Percent Rule

I received an email from some friends of ours in the Lifestyle the other day. The email, in response to one of our posts mentioned a rule they have that I think a lot of new swinger couples would benefit from knowing and putting into place in their swinging repertoire.

The rule is quite simple. Both spouses should always ensure that in any swinging situation they pay at least twenty percent more attention to their spouse than anyone else! It is amazing how many new couples who have never had jealousy issues before can run into some problems during their first few experiences. When examined more closely, most often the source of the jealousy is not the fact the spouse is with someone else, but the fact their partner feels alienated or left out of the experience.

What if I Can’t Get and Erection? - Swinger Says What?

If I was to open my Encyclopedia Britannica and open it to the swinger’s section, I would find that one of the most asked questions by new swingers goes something like this,

“What do I do if I have trouble getting a hard on? Is this common? What kind of reaction should I expect?”

We get emails regarding this topic quite regularly, so for today’s Swinger Say’s What? segment we are going to openly discuss this somewhat disconcerting subject.

Let me begin by taking my bull horn out from under the desk, inhaling a deep breath, and then yelling into it,

“Men of the swinging world. You are not alone! Since the dawn of Swinging in the infancy of the Lifestyle, men new to the situation of swapping have sometimes found it difficult to obtain an erection when trying to copulate with someone other than his spouse”

Selecting a Sextastic Swinger Themed Costume for Halloween

Well, it’s that time of year again! One of our favorite times of year as swingers, and not just because of the cooler weather, jack-o-lanterns and earlier sunsets. . . if you haven’t figured it out by now, we in the lifestyle love to dress up! We don’t necessarily wait for Halloween to come around to express our creativity in our attire! Although, not always the scary, spooky goblins, theme parties are a huge part of the lifestyle.

There are tons of Web sites with club wear and Halloween costumes! Even if you don’t order from them, they can help inspire ideas. A great site for costumes is www.odgirl.com. If you’ve bought a certain brand of lingerie that you know fits, it may be wise to go with that same brand for ordering costumes online, only because their sizing is probably similar. Some online stores may not allow you to return clothing if it does not fit, so be sure to check into that. Also, keep in mind shipping times.

The Shy One - A Swinger Encounter

It was very early on in our swinging journey and on one of our very first ”dates” that we met this couple. We had only exchanged an email a couple of hours before and agreed to meet at a restaurant midway between their place and ours.

In the email the husband (Seth) had warned us that his wife (Sierra) was shy and took awhile to open up. He assured us that she was very excited to meet us, but would probably take a little while to show it. To be honest, it scared us a little bit, as it sounded almost like maybe she was being dragged along and he was just covering for her expected reaction. However seeing that they had multiple validations from other swingers on the Web site, we chose to take our chances and meet them for dinner and drinks.

A Few Simple Questions - Ask Yourselves the Five W’s

If you are new to swinging and looking for information the most common advice you will get from seasoned veterans as well as other newbies is talk, talk, talk. On occasion the advisor will give you a suggestion of one or two topics to discuss with your partner. However in our experience no two couples have suggested the same topics.

So what should there be a swinger checklist? “If you can answer these questions correctly then you can be a swinger.” The thought is almost laughable. Just like no two couples suggest the same discussion topics no two couples swing the same way or have the same guidelines. Because as Dossie and Catherine say in “The Ethical Slut” No two relationships are the same.
