Your Evolution as a Swinger

Since joining the lifestyle a little over a year ago, we have met a lot of great people, had some amazing experiences and attended some crazy, fun parties!! 

Just like everything else in life, swinging has phases and as we encounter more experiences, we change also.  I guess we can call it the evolution of swinging!

When couples first enter the lifestyle, most are not too sure of what to expect. . . many couples experience something that sparks the curiosity before they actually enter the lifestyle.  There’s got to be a reason for searching out other sex-crazed people like yourself!  For us, it was a hot tub party and strip poker with completely vanilla friends. (Here is more on that story)  We discovered that we liked the added touch of open sexuality with friends.  It made the party that much more fun.  Mr. G had always been more sexually open than I have as I was raised in a very religious setting, so it has taken me some time to catch up!  For other couples, maybe one spouse or the other has had some previous experiences they enjoyed and once their relationship starts to mature, they open up to the other spouse and introduce the lifestyle. Holy Crap… Look At All the Puppies!

Last week we wrote a post entitled Holy Crap… We Spotted a Unicorn!.  This post talked about the unique situation of single females in the Lifestyle and their status as near royalty due to their elusiveness. 

This post, on the other hand, is going to look at the situation of single males in the Lifestyle.  Let me begin by saying this is not going to be a post bashing single males, as that is a pretty prevalent hobby among Lifestyler’s.  We are going to try and give new swingers or those interested in swinging a little insight into the phenomenon of single males. Has the New Swinging Anthem Arrived?

Well for those of you not as up to date with the new music scene.  Mrs. Gentlenibbles and I have heard and awesome song that could be the new Swinger anthem…..  At least for awhile!

The song, entitled “I Kissed a Girl” is sung by Katy Perry.  She is a cute young singer from Santa Barbara and “I Kissed a Girl” is on her debut album, “One of the Boys”  To add to the fit of this song with the Lifestyle, Katy used to swing…..  OK she was a swing dancer, but it is still an awesome song.
