It was very early on in our swinging journey and on one of our very first ”dates” that we met this couple. We had only exchanged an email a couple of hours before and agreed to meet at a restaurant midway between their place and ours.
In the email the husband (Seth) had warned us that his wife (Sierra) was shy and took awhile to open up. He assured us that she was very excited to meet us, but would probably take a little while to show it. To be honest, it scared us a little bit, as it sounded almost like maybe she was being dragged along and he was just covering for her expected reaction. A Few Simple Questions - Ask Yourselves the Five W’s

If you are new to swinging and looking for information the most common advice you will get from seasoned veterans as well as other newbies is talk, talk, talk. On occasion the advisor will give you a suggestion of one or two topics to discuss with your partner. However in our experience no two couples have suggested the same topics.
So what should there be a swinger checklist? “If you can answer these questions correctly then you can be a swinger.” The thought is almost laughable. Just like no two couples suggest the same discussion topics no two couples swing the same way or have the same guidelines. Willy Wonka’s Advice for Swingers

As a child I remember reading Charlie and the Chocolate Factory by Ronald Dahl. The book that inspired the two movies starring Gene Wilder, and now Johnny Depp. Even as a young child, I recall being able to plainly grasp one of the underlying central themes of the novel. That theme being, “Too much of a good thing can be bad!”

Now you have potential for trouble! So what does this have to do with Swinging? Other than the fact “Willy Wonka” kind of sounds like a sexual term, It is a really good idea for couples to periodically step back from all the fun and excitement they are having in the Lifestyle and take some time to rest, relax, and ensure both husband and wife are on the same page!
