Iniquity Houston - A Swing Club Review
January 22, 2008 by Mr. GentleNibbles · 2 Comments
We ventured out this past weekend to Iniquity here in Houston. High Maintenance hosted a “Sinners and Saints” party. We arrived at 10:30PM and there was not very many people there, which was a little disheartening, but it turned out to be a great night! It is still a fairly new club, so hopefully, attendance will pick up!! Here are our initial thoughts on this club:
Her Impression:
The atmosphere of the club is very clean and comfortable. There are many chairs and tables, as well as comfy seating areas with full size leather sofas. It is very spacious. The dance floor isn’t huge, but it’ll do.
We toured the VIP area, which is closed off with a set of double doors. The VIP members can see you, but you can’t see them through one way mirrored walls!! Again, there are lots of seating areas with full size sofas. There is a small dance floor where we are assuming a stripper pole will be in the near future. We were also told that a shower with glass walls is going to be added in the VIP area. The downfall of the VIP area is the cost! One night is $100!!
The staff members of the club were very professional and the waitresses were even dressed in the theme! Set-ups for drinks are not free, and they only let you bring in liquor. They do monitor this by not allowing coolers. They provide you with a silver ice bucket at the door.
The fees to get in the door were reasonable. Thanks to High Maintenance, their guests enjoy a discount. For us, the location is okay. Definitely better than Read more
What are Your New Year’s Eve Plans?
December 28, 2007 by Mr. GentleNibbles · Leave a Comment
It was a tough decision of what lifestyle event to attend this year for New Years Eve. There are several huge parties in Houston, and with the addition of a couple of new clubs this year the choices are outrageous. There were about three or four events we really would like to go to, but at the end of the day decided to go with High Maintenance Party’s New Years Eve Party.
To be honest the number of RSVP’s on the lifestyle websites seem to be a little low for all of the New Years Eve Parties. I think this is probably related to the fact there are so many events to chose from this year that the crowds at all of them may be watered down a bit. That is probably not a bad thing. We enjoy large turnouts because you get an opportunity to meet more people, but if the crowd is to big it can stifle the mood a little bit.
I have no doubts that the HMP party will be top notch with lots of new faces and old friends. We are really excited about the After Party hotel takeover at a hotel close to the event. This will be our first big “after party” since entering the lifestyle earlier this year, and we are looking forward to seeing what they are all about.
The only real worries we have are what to wear. It is dress to impress, but to be honest I am not that keen on wearing a tie all night. I am trying to think of way to look classy, sexy, and sophisticated Read more
The Pendulum Room South - A Swing Club Review

This Friday night Mrs. Gentlenibbles and had the opportunity to check out a relatively new Swing Club to the Houston lifestyle scene. We attended a birthday party at the Pendulum Room South, and as we promised in our post following the outing here is a review of the club.
Unfortunately, our review of the club is not going to be to pretty, but here it is:
To begin with, before going to the club we looked it up on their website. It is not a bad website and does provide the basic information to find the club, but that was it. It had no pictures, detailed information, and a overall pretty cheesy website design. We were unable to determine for sure whether their bar was setups only or full service, we had to make an assumption that since they did say they were an off premise club they most likely had a full bar. Mrs. Gentlenibbles had trouble getting a good idea of what type of attire would be appropriate, since they had no pictures from any events or descriptions. They did have a dress code stating what not to wear, but it did very little to help us get a feel for what the atmosphere would be. If we were brand new to the lifestyle and were considering going to this club, the tremendous lack of information on the website would most likely have us looking somewhere else, or worse keep us from Read more
